Rules
This competition is AHA sanctioned and open to any amateur homebrewer age 21 or older, that is a member of the Keepers of Craft, K.L.O.B, or South County Homebrew Clubs, along with any participants in the KVCC Sustainable Brewing Program.
This competion will be focused only on American IPA's (BJCP Category 21A). No other styles will be evaluated at this time.
All entries must be received at the drop off location, Brewery Outre, by the end of the drop off window. There will be no shipping accepted for this competition.
All entries will be picked up from drop-off locations the day of the drop-off deadline.
All entries must be handcrafted products, containing ingredients available to the general public, and made using private equipment by hobbyist brewers (i.e., no use of commercial facilities or Brew on Premises operations, supplies, etc.).
The competition organizers are not responsible for mis-categorized entries or entries that arrived / received damaged.
Qualified judging of all entries is the primary goal of our event. Judges will evaluate and score each entry. The average of the scores will rank each entry in its category. Each flight will have at least one BJCP judge.
Brewers are limited to one entry.
Bottles will not be returned to entrants.

Awards
The awards ceremony will take place once judging is completed.
- 2pm to 4pm - Open house / student final presentations. The hope is to get brewers in the door to taste our student's capstone recipes and give valued, one on one feedback. We will also have two WMU students presenting their graduate research projects. The samples of beer are free!
- 4pm to 5pm - Award announcements. We will recap the homebrew comp and give out awards...probably won't take a full hour
- 5pm to 7pm - Taps on Tuesday as Usual!
